Volunteer

Here at the South Utah Valley Animal Shelter we often rely on the help of volunteers for the success of our events. While we do accept volunteers over 18-years-old during the day at the shelter, we find that most of our needs arise outside of business hours when we run our licensing and rabies clinics in cities throughout south Utah County, and once yearly during our "Celebrate Your Pet" event.

We are currently in need of volunteers 16-years-old and older for many of our upcoming clinics- duties include basic set-up (like chairs and tables), handing out forms and helping people fill them out correctly, as well as writing and typing-up county licenses.

TO VOLUNTEER AT CLINICS & EVENTS:

1. Must be at least 16-years-old. Should be available on occasional weeknights/Saturdays at your convenience. 2. Email Carrie at doglicensedivision@gmail.com or call and ask for her at 801-851-4080.

TO VOLUNTEER AT THE SHELTER DURING BUSINESS HOURS:

1. Must be at least 18-years-old and be willing to submit to background and other checks. Complete our volunteer application in person at the shelter or email/mail it in to us. 2. Call to schedule a time to watch our 80-minute video on working with inmates. 3. Come help us out at regularly scheduled times- or whenever you have an hour or two to spare.
