The Petco Foundation has awarded the South Utah Valley Animal Shelter a $55,000 grant to support our "Adoption Readiness Program".
"I want to personally thank the Petco Foundation for helping us save more lives! SUVAS is always trying to find ways to better the lives of the animals in our community and make it possible for them to find forever homes. This grant will enable us to spay/neuter/vaccinate more animals, making the adoption ready, and will help reduce the pet population entering the shelters." -Kierstan Munford, executive director of SUVAS.
The Petco Foundation has been around since 1999 and has invested more than $250 million in lifesaving animal welfare work. They work with more than 4,000 partners to achieve their goal of getting shelter pets adopted. So far, they have helped find forever homes for 6 million pets and counting!
Thank you again Petco Foundation, this is incredible!
